Eagle’s Next a Transformational Space
The contextual surroundings (lake, volcanos, erupting ones in the distance, birds of prey flying close-by). The intentional construction, carrying alignment, symbols, textures & shapes. Layers of inspiring and visionary art permeating the space throught. The element of nature omnipresent. The arts brought into the space directed towards transformation. The intention of the space is one for self-actualisation, healing, transformation, evolution.
Type of experiences that you usually find at the Eagle’s Nest
We consider ourselves an experimental laboratory where The Arts are invited in, combined with the magic of the space and the wisdom of the facilitator. The result – transformational experiences. Experiences already held in the space are wide ranging and include yoga, breathwork, tai chi, authentic relating, ecstatic dance, thai massage, standing acrobatics, mayan ceremonies, cacao ceremonies, guided meditations, circus arts, capoeira, achieving flow, remote work summit, healing through poetry.
About the Retreat Space
Nestled atop a traditional Mayan village of San Marcos La Laguna on the shores of majestic Lake Atitlán, our property combines natural accommodation amongst nature. Eagle’s Nest Atitlán is a unique place and will reward you with feelings and experiences that maybe are just…..beyond. We extend an invitation for you to journey to the highlands of mystical Guatemala in Central America and create, co-create or participate in transformational retreats, workshops, classes, and events. Infinite possibilities and awe await, gratitude for the beauty that is and surrounds us, and that the impossible might just possibly be attainable if you allow it to be. A pilgrimage to a special place on this earth…to create experiences beyond dreams.

All cabins/dorm/tents shared compost toilets & outdoor showers. The Cabins have access to solar heated showers.
Our immediate community is the Eagle’s Nest family, comprising of the founder (Greg) and his partner (Anna), our resident manager and assistant manager, our local workers serving both hospitality & site upgrades/maintenance, and our current work exchange team adding value to space with their skills and knowledge. Our town level community is nourished via our multitude of events offered during times when retreats are not booked. The flagship events are the ecstatic dance events currently named Moondance and SunDance, which run on average once per week during busy season (Dec through April). We also schedule classes for a variety of arts (depends on teachers available at that time) intended to serve our community.
